U.a. Technik (Kurvenfahren, Bergfahren etc), Ernährung, Material etc

Danach folgten Touren in New Zealand und Australien.

Everything started with the tricycle. Short sections of the Sihl (river in the Sihltal) followed. After 10 years I entered the VC Adliswil. Because of lack of participants I changed after 2 years (1992) to the VC Horgen.

In the cycling school one learned the 1 × 1 of cycling. U.a. Technology (biking, climbing etc), nutrition, material etc

I took part in a number of student races, then followed competitions with the beginners and finally with the juniors.

I quickly realized that I was not a great talent and would not have a chance without further training. I thought long distances are more for me. So I grabbed my wire for the first time and drove with Ueli Zahner from Horgen (Zurich) via Italy and Sicily to Tunisia.

This was followed by tours in New Zealand and Australia. I liked this very much.

Going up to Alaska for a long time was a dream for me. This opportunity I grabbed after I took the job as a mountain bike guide in the South of France.

After a one-week organization, I boarded the plane in Zurich and flew via Toronto to Vancouver. Bought me a super touring bike, and went cycling towards the far north. Many adventures later I drove in Anchorage, pouring rain. I thought, why should not I go on so long until I have no more money? The fitness of the bike was as good as I ?

By boat we went through the Inside Passage via Juneau to Bellingham, then by bike to Panama and then by sailboat to Kolombien.

But that was not all.

I have heard of many couples and other adventures and have read that they pedal with the bike around the globe. By the way: a crazy couple is still on the road and as a first couple wants to discover all the countries of the world by bike.

Why not me?

From 2011 I save on my world trip ….

Start in 2015!
